On Emotionism
Emotion is not the subject.
It is the way of seeing.
Emotionism begins with observation: not only of the visible world, but of what happens within us as we encounter it. A color can carry memory. A gesture can hold tension. An ordinary moment can reveal an entire interior landscape.
My paintings do not illustrate a single feeling. They follow emotion as it changes, overlaps, and leaves traces behind. This space is an evolving record of those observations.
